Online Escape Room games can be played from anywhere; they are an opportunity to play remotely with friends, family, and colleagues as a fun activity or a team-building exercise. 

We are also a real physical Escape Room company with multiple venues across the UK. 

We offer two types of online escape room games:

  • Hosted Games - one of our team will host a live Online Escape Room game for your group to play online at an agreed time and date
  • Play Anytime Games - buy the game and share the code with your team to play at a date and time you agree

Play Anytime GAMES

Play Anytime Games do not require one of our staff and have a built in clue system to support teams as they play the online escape room from anywhere in the world. 

  • £25 per game (not per player!)
  • Get an instant access code; share code with your team and play at an agreed date/time
  • Explore the virtual world independently; see all players mouse pointers (with names) and work together to find and solve
  • Up to six connections can play together at the same time
  • See collected items and inventory, they will disappear from all players once used
  • Once the session has been stared by the lead player the team will have 48 hours to complete the challenge
  • Players can connect and disconnect, any reconnections will join at the most recent point of the game​
  • Use your preferred calling system (Zoom, WhatsApp, Teams etc) to communicate with teammates during the game

BENEATH THE DARK DARK WOOD

£25 per game: Play alone online or together with up to six others

You and your team of Agents arrive on 'Black Knight Island'.

On the beach, you are given top-secret instructions; soon, you'll be searching for the hideout in the dark, dark wood.

This is an online escape room adventure; you can play alone or in a team (you'll see each other's mouse pointers and be able to interact with puzzles alone and together).

There are multiple 360-degree explorable rooms, and you have control of your view at all times; when your friends/family/colleagues find something interesting, it'll appear for you too!

Book the game (one price for up to six player connections), arrange a time to play with friends/family/colleagues and start a separate group call using your preferred calling service so you can hear each other.

You have 48 hours from when you start the game to complete this online escape room. Most teams escape in under two and a half hours, some sooner, and just like a physical escape room... not all teams complete it!

There is a built-in clue system (which you need to find), and you get three clues (and can see your progress in the game so you can decide if you want to use a hint or not).

This game is fun, interactive and ideal for social gatherings, team building, and distributed teams.

This original Escape Network game has been bought and reimagined by Know Escape; you know it will be good!

Our booking system requires you to enter a time of booking; you can join anything you like (it does not matter), and the game will start for all players when you hit Start Game.

Hosted Games (WITH A Live Games Master)

Hosted Games are played live with one of our team present as the online escape room Gamesmaster. 

For each game, you will be provided with a private game room, and our Gamesmaster will attend at the agreed date and time and host the game; you will have one hour to complete the game and escape.

It’s a winter’s night at the Emma Rose Hotel. A thunderous scream echoes up the stairs, and you all scramble out of your beds. You all gather around Reception, trembling with fear. Mr Jenkins, the manager, is lying on the reception desk dead. The six of you were the only people here tonight. One of you must have done it.

Highwater

£60 per game

As you leave the dark forest and cut through the compound fence, you and your crew scurry across the courtyard towards the Highwater Compound. This is where the Highwater's didn't want you to find, where they didn't want you to come into, and where the ground beneath you suddenly falls away, and you find yourselves in a pile on the floor, underground. You wake up to a cat licking your face; you are all hurt but alive, confused, and it's time to find out what is going on and how to get out; you have an hour; it's dark. Escape.

Mother's Room

The bus drops you at the foot of the hill, at the gates to the Appleyards. You are holding further instructions from Great Uncle Reginald. You learn that nobody has been in Mother's Room since Mother left, the door is still locked, and the key was never found... There is something of incredible value.... and only an hour to find it. You and your team have one hour to find your way in, solve the puzzles, unlock the secrets and leave with Mother's most treasured possession. Will you make it out?

It is a beautiful summer’s day, and you are playing in the park with your friends. Suddenly you realise that your dog, Barney, is missing. You look around, and besides his shed stands the parkkeeper. He points to the woods and tells you that he saw Barney run off in that direction.

FAQ

Play Anytime games can be played instantly, Hosted games can be booked once a date and play time has been agreed.

The games are UK local time.  We are able to run games outside of these times on request and regulalry put on special games outside our typical operating hours to accomodate groups from the US and Canada!

No!  These are the same game, we sometimes run them twice when there is demand.

Play Anytime – £25  per game.

Hosted Game – £60 per game.

We don’t impose any limits however due to bandwidth constraints it may be nessasary for larger teams to disable their webcams to enable all of their team to enjoy the experience.  We do recommend no more than 4 active cameras and upto 8 players per game for to ensure an optimal experience.

Yes!  Unless we say otherwise the themes are mild.  If there are younger ears present please let our games master know and they can ensure that the content is kept appropriate.

No, you can play with friends who are litterally anywhere with an internet connection!

Yes! We will be offering a selection of different games to get us all through the coming weeks.

During covid-19 we were allowed to use game plans by EscapeThisPodcast, rooms designed by Dani Siller.  Since Covid-19 we have designed and hosted our own games.

We’ve taken these and adapted them to be in the style of one shot Dungeons & Dragons (without the character building) but 100% an escape room.  Think old school text based adventure but with graphics and your own dedicated games master!

No, you can play with your friends from your own houses.

Yes 15 minutes prior to your booking for the traditional briefing (we will spare you the full health and safety video though!)

We will send you details of how to connect in your booking confirmation email.  Please read these carefully and ensure that you download the app if required in advance.

Most smartphones, tables and laptops / computers are supported.

The game itself is 60 minutes (unless other wise specified). Your Games Master will do a briefing and debriefing

Yes! We are frantically showing our Games Masters how to run these and getting them setup so they can work from home.

Yes! On your screen you will see a map (or at least what we want you to see of it). As the story progresses your games master will be there all the way through your game as you explore the room, solve puzzles and escape!
